Fáelán Hingston
Illustration Portfoilo

Welcome to my Portfolio. My name is Fáelán and I'm the artist behind MsFáerieArts. I'm an illustrator and comic artist based in Ontario, Canada. My work consists of fanart and original pieces, I primally work in digital media but I do drift towards traditional from time to time.

Personal Work

My personal works are a labour of love, all of my personal art comes from my love of media, music and pop culture. Even in my original works, you can find references or see where my inspiration comes from.
I love working with Fantasy and bright coloured themes.

Sticker Designs

Product designs of my stickers. All my sticker designs are a fun challenge for visually getting a message or meaning across in a simple and smaller manner, I love creating stickers and small artworks.

Client Work

*My past clients, including Terroronto Horror Art Market and Die Hard Dice

Terroronto: Horror Art Market

I got the amazing oppurtuinty to work with Terroronto on the 2026 poster for March 13 - 15.
They discussed wanting to have references to horror and Jason since it landed on a Friday the 13th.
We settled on the idea of a "Eye-Spy" game like poster. Everywhere you look something is happening or characters are interacting.
I chose a limited palette based on vintage movie posters and concerts, looking for ones that used vibrant colours.
I chose to use black cats since they are a common unlucky icon (And also I'm a fan of them!) I paired them with white ghosts that used the same dark colour of the cats for the eyes and hands. This helped break up all the dark colours and added a nice balance.

Die Hard Dice: Fruit Stickers

My first major client works, Die Hard Dice offered me the chance to work on their Fruit Dice Sticker series. One Fruit for each dice in a seven piece set of polyhedral dice used for TTRPGs like D&D and Pathfinder. We had a lot of fun collaborating on different fruits and which dice would suit them best. It was easy for many of them, Watermelon being the D20 and Apple being a D6 but some of the others were trickier ones, trying to keep that shape knowledge while trying to take into account the other shapes and fruits
Many of the fruits had slices added to them, creating a clear visual that are fruits not just plastic math rocks.

Convention Setups

Photos of my setups from different conventions, markets and shows where I have sold my work. I'm constantly adapting my setup, I want my displays to be visually accessible and clear while also colourful and inviting to customers
